Privacy Policy — FundayDrive

K & K Concepts, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"), operates the FundayDrive mobile app and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — email address, display name, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
Gameplay data — odometer readings you enter at the start and end of a rally (used to calculate mileage accuracy), answers submitted, scores, team names, and session timestamps. FundayDrive does not track your device's GPS location.
Payment information — purchases are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your card number. We retain a record of the transaction (amount, date, rally purchased) linked to your account.
Device/diagnostic information — basic crash and error data to keep the app working reliably.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to operate the Service: running rally gameplay, verifying purchases, scoring sessions, displaying leaderboards, communicating with you about your account (e.g., email verification, password resets), and improving the app. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties to operate the Service, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Stripe — payment processing.
OpenStreetMap — renders the small reference map shown for a rally's starting/ending point. No account or device data is sent to this provider — it only receives the coordinates of the location itself.
Email delivery providers — account verification and password-reset messages.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing support@fundaydrive.com. When you delete your account:

Your personal information (email, display name, password, verification tokens) is permanently deleted.
Your gameplay history (answers, scores, session data) is anonymized — disconnected from your identity — rather than deleted outright, so that aggregate statistics and leaderboards for other players remain accurate.
Payment/transaction records are retained as required by law for accounting and tax purposes, with personal identifiers removed where possible.

5. Children's Privacy

FundayDrive is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures (password hashing, encrypted transport) to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.

8. Camera & Photo Library Access

If you choose to use the in-app sharing feature, FundayDrive will request permission to access your device's camera and/or photo library:

Camera — to let you take a photo directly from the app.
Photo library — to let you pick an existing photo to share.

These permissions are requested only when you tap the share button. Granting them is optional; declining does not affect any other app features.

Photos you share are sent directly from your device to the social media platform you choose (e.g., Instagram, Messages). FundayDrive does not upload, store, or receive your photos on our servers. We store only a timestamped consent record (no image data) that indicates you initiated a share event.

If you enable the "Allow FundayDrive to feature my photos" toggle, you grant us permission to request, display, and re-post publicly shared content tagged with #FundayDrive on our own social channels. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing support@fundaydrive.com.

Shared photos are subject to the privacy policy of the third-party platform you post to. We are not responsible for how those platforms handle your content.
